"Mirrors should think longer before they reflect."

- jean cocteau

Our reflection doesn't always tell the full story of who we are.

Too often, mirrors reflect back only the surface - the flaws, imperfections, insecurities and our distorted perceptions of what we need to look like to be 'beautiful'. But if the mirror could pause and consider the true depth of our beauty, strength, and worth, perhaps it would reflect something greater:

the light in our souls, the kindness in our eyes, the resilience in our bodies, the uniqueness that makes us who we are. And when we look with love, we can rewrite the story and say with confidence:

I AM BEAUTIFUL.
